I believe seeing pictures of someone helps you better identify with them. It gives your brain a visual reference of that person. In this most impersonal of mediums, that is very important. Am I goofy looking? You bet I am! However, now when you think of me, you will have a picture to represent me. Now as to whether that picture makes you laugh or keeps you up at night, well... they
say there is no such thing as bad PR. Here's to hoping they
are right.
As for who I am, beyond the code and the projects, I think I probably fit the classic fat guy stereotype, jovial. I am pretty easy going. I am fortunate enough to be innately good at rolling with the punches. I like to laugh, at me, at you, at whoever, at whatever. I feel having a good sense of humor helps me be an adaptable and effective person. It allows me to keep things in perspective.
That's not to say that I am lacking in work ethic. I happen to work very well under pressure. However, a sense of perspective is necessary for long term happiness. It's all about balance.
